I just noticed that I no longer had an archive for November and 3 of my previous posts had mysteriously moved back to draft. What is going on?? Anyway, they are back on the blog now that I’ve had a few minutes of downtime. The kids are in front of the TV, hubby is grocery shopping (mostly he went out to go to the Depot but got stuck with an addition task). Will post some Christmas pix at another time.
Eek, yesterday morning I realized that there was only ONE day left before Christmas holidays and I had yet to make cards for the girls’ to give to their teachers!! So once I cleared the empty beer bottles (yucky stuff), broken track light, screwdrivers and other assorted junk my hubby dumps on my craft counter, I got down to work. I mounted my new stamp set, Holy Family, in about 30 seconds flat – I soooo love that Stampin’ Up now has die cut stamps, and got down to business.
I pulled out my lovely markers and using my blender pen set to work “watercolouring”. I dug out a retired Simply Scrappin’ kit and used up the rest of the beautiful Real Red star patterned paper. Fortunately I had just enough for the four cards. The blue is Bashful Blue as I love the look of blue for Christmas. I stamped the sentiment inside in Real Red to coordinate with the paper.
