Eek, yesterday morning I realized that there was only ONE day left before Christmas holidays and I had yet to make cards for the girls’ to give to their teachers!! So once I cleared the empty beer bottles (yucky stuff), broken track light, screwdrivers and other assorted junk my hubby dumps on my craft counter, I got down to work. I mounted my new stamp set, Holy Family, in about 30 seconds flat – I soooo love that Stampin’ Up now has die cut stamps, and got down to business.
I pulled out my lovely markers and using my blender pen set to work “watercolouring”. I dug out a retired Simply Scrappin’ kit and used up the rest of the beautiful Real Red star patterned paper. Fortunately I had just enough for the four cards. The blue is Bashful Blue as I love the look of blue for Christmas. I stamped the sentiment inside in Real Red to coordinate with the paper.
Great job! While I try, I don’t watercolour well, so I’m due for a lesson…good excuse to get together too. I’m thinking of making a pile of Xmas cards right after Xmas for next year….you in??
Count me in!
